Students falling under the “Regeling voor Cursisten Basis Educatie” (“arrangement for basic education students”) can apply for a Basic Education Pass. This pass entitles you to a free library membership of one year. When applying for or renewing the Basic Education Pass, you need to fill in the “application form for adult education students”. This form can be obtained at the educational establishment that you are attending. As for every new registration at the library you need to bring a recognized identity certificate and a recent address identification.
During your course you will be entitled to this discount for a maximum of two years. From then you need to switch over to a regular library membership.
